I am a writer, an executive coach, a practitioner of somatic psychotherapy, and the co-founder of Natura Care.

I created Deep Fix for those who feel that something is awry in a world so undeniably beautiful. My work is about finding depth where shallowness reigns. It’s about intellect, heart, and soul. Fundamentally, I’m interested in how we can mend the fractured reality of modern existence to create less suffering. I’m equally dedicated, I hope, to celebrating the unerring perfection woven into the fabric of our universe.

My words have been featured in publications like Tablet, Newsweek, Psychology Today, RealClear Politics, and The Australian. I also write a popular Substack newsletter and podcast.

As a coach and group facilitator, my work helps individuals relinquish harmful patterns, reconnect to the body’s intelligence, self-realize, and live joyfully. I also founded a men’s group called Sons of Now. Sincerity, with self and others, is the cornerstone of my practice.

My co-founders and I created Natura Care, a non-profit program harnessing psychedelics, to provide a novel approach to combat addiction in all its forms. Natura made its debut in 2022, and in just a short time, has already made a positive impact on the lives of many.

In a former life, I was a Dartmouth College student, then technology executive, and entrepreneur. I have helped launch and scale numerous startups and non-profits.

On the personal front, I love to surf, dance, and practice yoga. I meditate quite a bit. And I recently moved into a new home in the Oakland hills with my partner Grace, who could not be more aptly named.

NEWSLETTER & POdcast:

I am the creator of Deep Fix, a bestselling newsletter and podcast that was chosen for Substack’s coveted Mentor Fellowship program. My essays explore much, including philosophy, modern addiction, psychedelic science, mysticism, and social healing.

For the blessedly uninitiated, fix refers to a dope hit. All forms of modern addiction—from drugs to screens—are central to my work. The meaning of fix also functions literally: bandaid solutions do not balm wounds of the soul. We are looking for deep fixes.

My full archive of 190+ essays now lives on Substack. There, thousands of people subscribe and seem to like it. I hope you might, too.
